This “King of Caddis” is ruling the dry fly world with an iron fist!! In still water compounds like Hebgen Lake, Montana, or Ph.D. fish on the Harriman Ranch, Idaho, or West Slope cutthroats on Kelly Creek and the St. Joe’s in Idaho, this fly has wreaked havoc over really smart fish. The beautifully striated biot bodies, the two-stage CDC wing, and the front nose antennae give this bug the most life-like silhouette of any caddis sold, bar none. We recommend the use of Lochsa floatant on this series of flies.
A simple tool that works extremely well. For fishermen who fish in low light conditions or don’t see as well as they used to, it is indispensable! How to Use: Step 1: Insert the eye of the hook downwards in the notch. It will be held in place by a built-in magnet. Step 2: Insert the line into the groove. Feed the line down the groove and through the eye of the hook. Step 3: Pull the threaded hook off the magnet, and tie with your favorite knot to secure it to your line.
