Two of the most prevalent mayflies at higher elevations look exactly like these two bugs. So if high-mountain lakes and streams are on your bucket list, DO NOT go there without them. They are tied in the hatching stage, so they cast easily and lay flat on the surface. They present themselves perfectly for slow-moving or still water. The bonus is, you can catch a ton of fish on these patterns at lower elevations also!
