Nate created this mayfly pattern over 20 years ago and its rich history includes hundreds and hundreds of fish in the net. The hand-carved wings, biot bodies, and trimmed out hackle come together in a wonderfully balanced bug that floats precisely at the surface. It is designed to float in fast to medium riffle. There is one warning attached to this fly: Keep your eye on it at all times when it rides the riffle because if you take your eye away, you will never find it again. It looks exactly like a mayfly, and you won't be able to differentiate between it and the natural.
