When you receive an order of Convertibles, the fly will look like an imitation of an adult mayfly floating the surface with its wings spread. This is a very common mayfly posture.
When the spent spinner stage of a hatch becomes the predominant phase, you can convert this bug by simply pulling down on the wings.
By pinching under the wing, you can then convert the bug back into a split or dual-wing adult. This is a very cool bug!! If you enjoyed fishing the No Hackle, you will love the Convertible.
