Colored Emergers

Colored Emergers

Absolutely Remarkable!! This group of bugs completely solves the dilemma of a fish feeding just under the surface that won’t eat the adult bug. The Colored Emerger® is tied on a Daiichi 1270 hook which is 3X long. This disperses the weight to the turn of the hook. The eye shuck is CDC that has great floating characteristics, so the turn of the hook sinks below the surface and the CDC suspends it in that position. Don’t let the simplicity of this fly deceive you–it could be one of the most productive flies we fish, especially in winter.
